Professional wedding officiant Linda has an open mind and heart. According to her, the ideal wedding is one that genuinely captures the essence of the love that two people have for one another. Knowing they’ve found the one person to complete and enrich their lives should make their day happy and full of gratitude. In order to create a unique and creative wedding ceremony, Linda works with couples to strike a delicate balance between individuality, tradition, and creativity. She has a friendly, outgoing demeanor, patience, warmth, and optimism.
Linda is a retired teacher who earned her M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Maryland College in Westminster, MD, and her B.S. in Elementary Education from Bowie State University in Bowie, MD. Prior to retiring from Calvert County Public Schools in 2014, she taught grades 3, 4, and 5.
Linda, who has been married to her husband for 45 years, spent many years traveling the east coast as a Navy wife. She and her husband have three grown children and is known as “Nonna” to her five grandchildren. She is licensed to perform weddings in Maryland and Washington, D.C. Linda resides in Maryland.
She is passionate about writing and has had her poetry published. Her writing creativity has led her to write a play and several short stories. Besides writing, her hobbies are reading, boating, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
