Linda is a professional wedding officiant with an open heart and open mind. She believes the perfect wedding is one that truly signifies the love two people share with one another. Their day should be filled with happiness and gratitude knowing they found that one person to bring joy and fulfillment into their lives. Linda works with couples to find that fine balance between creativity, tradition, and individuality to plan a creative and personalized wedding ceremony. She is gregarious and kind, with patience, warmth, and a positive attitude.
Linda is a retired educator, having received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Bowie State University in Bowie, MD, and M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Maryland College in Westminster, MD. She taught grades 3, 4, and 5 before retiring from Calvert County Public Schools in 2014.
Linda was a Navy wife for many years, moving up and down the east coast with her husband, who she has been married to for over 40 years. They have 3 grown children, and she is “Nonna” to her five grandchildren. She resides in Maryland and is certified to officiate weddings in Maryland and D.C.
She is passionate about writing and has had her poetry published. Her writing creativity has led her to write a play and several short stories. Besides writing, her hobbies are reading, boating, gardening, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
